Sort Star

The Sort Star was developed with simple changeovers in mind. Using a centrifugal disk and adjustable guides, most plastic round bottles can be run on this machine without change parts. All mechanical adjustments have a numeric counter for easy, repeatable changes. All motorized adjustments such as disk rotation speed are adjusted via the operator interface.

Bottle Unscrambler

(Automatic bottle unscrambler for plastic bottles, vials and tubes) The Unscrambler can be adapted to orient almost all types of plastic containers. The components are handled by a rotating disk at the bottom of the hopper that is designed specifically for each component. This special change part ensures that bottles are oriented in the correct direction before being released into a dedicated stainless steel chute leading directly onto the discharge conveyor.

Infeed and Accumulation Turntables

This is simple yet critical equipment on a production line where plastic or glass round stable base container is being fed. The Capmatic turntable allows the operator to load the bottles via a stainless steel infeed tray large enough to place the holding tray and stage backup bottles. GMP design rotary table can be installed onto any conveyor configuration and can be equipped with 18” up to 48” diameter.

Tray Infeed and Outfeed

Normally used to feed and accumulate unstable base container from the transporting tray (size of the tray infeed can be modified to accept custom size) through proper introduction onto Capmatic’s standard Monoblock system. The infeed system normally works with a motorized carpet style transporting system. Stainless steel mesh or material type can be used depending on the requirement. An adjustable pressure plate ensures that the containers are transported without falling over.
The containers are being mechanically pushed onto the out feed tray, which is using an adjustable pressure plate keeping the containers standing straight-up on the tray. An electronic sensor will detect when a tray is full and will automatically stop the machine if the tray has not been changed.

Conveyors (Standard and Raised Bed)

Capmatic’s modular stainless steel constructed conveyor can be supplied to fit any configuration line layout and be modified without any major work. Specifically designed for the Pharmaceutical and cosmetic requirements, they are easy to maintain and clean. The advantage for the Raised bed version allows the operator to clean under the transporting belt without having to dismantle. The motor and transmission are completely covered with stainless steel to avoid any infiltration of product that may fall. They can be controlled with AC drive converter or standard DC drive. The conveyors are supported with a Tripod system to facilitate the inline positioning and tool less guide adjustment system reduce change over time dramatically.

Transfer Systems

Built on a tubular stainless steel structure with stabilizer adjustable feet to ease up installation with the rest of the equipment. This system utilizes a 600 mm long double belting system to hold the container from the puck or unstable container ensuring proper transfer from one conveyor to the other, while releasing the bottle from the puck or doing bottom coding with an Ink jet system. The width adjustment system is done through a single hand wheel mounted with a reference numerical counter to ease up change over.

Bulk Feed Hopper (Pedestal)

These hopper feeders are designed to automatically feed component onto sorting device to give them a longer autonomy. They are built in stainless steel and are supported with tubular stainless steel structure installed directly over the sorting device. The hopper can be equipped in many capacity volumes. The right amount of component being fed to the sorting device is guaranteed by a variable speed vibrating plate connected to a sensor to detect the level inside the orientation system.

Bulk Feed Elevator (Giraffe)

These hopper elevator feeders are designed to automatically feed component from the ground onto sorting device to give them a longer autonomy. The feeders are built in stainless steel using motorized conveyor belts in white polyurethane to elevate the component onto the sorting device and they can be equipped in many capacity volumes. The right amount of component being feed to the sorting device is guaranteed by an electronic sensor, which detects the right amount of component into the sorting device.
