FLOWSTAR™ inline piston filler provides packagers with flexibility, speed, and accuracy, primarily for filling liquids and creams in Pharmaceutical, Cosmetics, and personal care applications. PacDrive equipped servo filler produces fast fills with high accuracy regardless of bottle geometry. The PacDrive servos control diving of the bottom-up filling nozzles. Suitable for speed control when filling non-symmetrical containers, the servos can reduce speed as the nozzles reach the tapered tops of the containers. The servos also control the piston profiles, allowing full profile filling. The combination of nozzle and piston servo control results in a flexible system in which preprogrammed recipes replace changeparts.
Added flexibility is provided by an interchangeable, dockable filling system. This feature allows changeover from standard piston filling heads to mass-flow metering to high-viscosity filling heads. The Flowstar can operate at speeds from 15 to 200 containers/min*. (Subject to testing with samples).
